Stars Football League declared the creation of a new Professional Spring Football League. The Stars Football League will begin the play on Saturday nights commencement April 2, 2011, with a 10 to 12 game agenda.
This professional league plays outdoors, using traditional professional rules.

The SFL will pay players and coaches using a remuneration cap for the league. The league is controlled by a board of directors, headed by the chairman of the board President, Peter(Pete) J. Huthwaite.
